If you’ve been following me for awhile on Twitter, you probably wondered why Bottega Louie never made it to my restaurant list, since I was there on a near weekly basis. That’s because I decided to dedicate a whole post to my favorite restaurant just down the street. Bottega Louie sounds like such a bourgeois choice for THE favorite restaurant, but it truly was for me. It worked well as a restaurant for casual gatherings or special occasions, and friends and family, from the New Yorkers to the cheap fuckers I know, would find something to love about it. I know I fell hard for it the minute I first stepped in, on, what, the first day it opened?
Ten other reasons why Bottega Louie is my favorite restaurant in downtown:
