L.A. Weekend: Street Food at the Studios

All the food trucks you could ever want will be at LACS this weekend for the LA Street Food Fest. Pretty cool spot for such an event, if you ask me. Not only do they shoot and produce movies and shows here (Mad Men, anyone? Also noticed it was the site of the proposal scene in I Love You, Man), but they throw the baddest parties. And their views of the city are amazing. If you’re an old follower of my blog(s), you may recall I was entertaining ideas of moving my studio here. Not so entertaining when I found out how much rent was though…

Anyway, come down to City West tomorrow with an empty stomach. There are over 30 trucks listed to come, and you know you’ll want to try them all. My personal fave is the ever-popular Grilled Cheese Truck (cheesy mac, I love you).

street food fest sounds like a lot of fun! i’m all about food, esp cheap food. and yeah, i really need to check out LACS, i heard a lot of good things about it. unfortunately when i was living in LA, i hated the commute and didn’t have a car, so i couldn’t go anywhere.
Yeah, it is so hard to get around without a car in LA. Riding the bus sucks, especially as a young female. The subway is probably the best way to get around now, but it’s still very limited.
I didn’t get to attend the street fest, but seeing how many people did, or tried to, was something!!
YES, we must get together. We can take the babies to the beach!
I thought you had to be menopausal to shop at Ann Taylor, but I found some great basics when I shopped there for the first time. I frequent the websites for sales. I also found a cool cardigan + skirt at Ann Taylor Loft during their 50% off the sales rack event!
I am totally a new fan of Ann Taylor. I forgot they had a location at 7th + Fig that closed down last year. Wish it was still there.
